Bedford Modern School (BMS) is a thriving HMC independent co-educational day school for students aged 7-18. Our community is a friendly, happy and supportive one and all of the 350 staff members, spanning both teaching and non-teaching roles, helping to make BMS a very special place to work.

Bedford Modern School is seeking a motivated IT Support Technician (Apprentice) to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience while completing a Level 3 Information Communication Technician Apprenticeship.

In this role, you will provide first-line technical support to staff and students, assisting with hardware, software, and network issues, as well as helping to install and maintain IT equipment. You will also support the secure and efficient operation of the School’s IT systems, maintain accurate records, and develop your technical knowledge within a supportive environment.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in IT, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude towards learning and professional development. You will work collaboratively with colleagues while building the skills required for a career in IT.
